Guidelines for Parents and Artists

Introduction

Thanks for joining Kid Art Show! To uphold the integrity of our community, please abide by these guidelines when publishing and selling your artwork.

Allowable items

Artwork may be uploaded either for display only, or for sale.

All art uploaded at Kid Art Show must be the independent work of the artist under whose account it is published. Please don't post any work made by someone else.

Only original, handmade works may be sold here. Please don't list prints or copies for sale. Also, please don't list digital artwork, photography or recordings at Kid Art Show.

Any medium is fine, as long as you can securely package and ship it. If your category isn't listed, you can choose the "Other medium" option.

Artwork content

To protect children's online privacy and comply with COPPA regulations, please ensure that photos of artwork do not include the identifiable information of anyone under eighteen. This includes identifiable likenesses (including portraits), and signatures which include a child's full name. (If a child has signed the work with his or her full name, you may publish a photo of the artwork with the signature blurred or covered.)

Artwork should not depict violence, nudity or anything that may be considered offensive or inappropriate for children to view. If you aren't sure whether an item meets this criteria, please reach out to our team for advice before listing.

Seller responsibilities

Parents are responsible for ensuring that the artwork published as "For Sale" under their children's accounts is available for sale. We have a "Display Only" option which we encourage you to use for any artwork you are unwilling or unable to sell.

If an item that was listed for sale becomes damaged or unavailable, please remove the listing or mark it as "Display Only" as soon as possible (using the Edit option from the artist account).

Once an item is sold, parents are responsible for securely packing and shipping it to the buyer within seven days, using any major shipping method which provides a tracking number. If you will be traveling or otherwise unavailable to ship items, please take any sales listings down or mark them as "Display Only" while you are away.
