About this work

In my art class, I created a piece focusing on the technique of overlapping shapes. I began by sketching five two-dimensional shapes, spacing the larger ones approximately one centimeter apart. I skillfully maneuvered them to weave in and out, crafting the illusion of a three-dimensional effect. Once the outlines were complete, I meticulously filled in each shape with vibrant crayon colors, ensuring no white space remained. To add depth and dimension, I traced over my pencil lines with a marker, giving the artwork a bold and dynamic finish.
